Symptom

  • After upgrading to IQ 16 SP11 PLx or higher the mpx coordinator (CN) startup aborts at st_server.cxx

  • The aborting stack trace contains  thread calls  similar to this...

    inc_iqnwi::SetupSender
    inc_iqnwi::SetupListener()
    inc_iqnwi::SetupReceiver()
    inc_iqnwi*s_dbmvbio::InitNetIface()
    inc_iqnwi*inc_remoteServerEndpoint::GetNetIface()
    st_mpxView::MIPCResume()
    st_mpxHeartbeat::HeartbeatMonitor


  • The multiplex has been configured with connection definitions that use  IPv6  Internet protocol.
