How to schedule an encrypted report on Report Center?

Encryption is only available for Table Reports, there is no encryption for reports generated out of ORD even through Report Distributor. Customers should use the Integration Center for output to 3rd party systems -> 2443086

To request the import of the key, please engage your Implementation Partner or Customer Support under the component LOD-SF-PLT-JOBS. The details below are required for this action:

• The Company ID of the instance;
• Attach the key file in the ticket from security center. See KBA 2296971 - Generating and Importing PGP Keys for more info

Scheduling Reports:

Schedule your reports to be sent to File Transfer Protocol (FTP).

Prerequisites

• You need to have user permission to schedule reports. See KBA 2464604 - How to schedule a Table report? – Report Center
• Only Report Center Admins can schedule reports to be sent to FTP. See KBA 2721217 - How to enable FTP schedule for report tables through the Report Center - Analytics
• The PGP key has to be provided by the PLT team prior to the schedule. CS can import multiple public keys from a customer. Those imported public keys will be used to encrypt a file, then ship it to customer. Per standard from PGP, all public keys in there will be used in encryption. In other words, customer can use private key of any one public to decrypt the file.
• Only Report Center Admins can schedule reports to be sent to FTP.

Steps:

1. Go to New Schedule from Action menu.

     2. Fill the required details on Job Definition tab.
     3. Enter the Job Name.

     4. Select the Report Format.
     5. Enter the e-mail addresses you want to send notifications. These e-mail addresses do not receive the resulting scheduled report.

You can choose to send notifications on Job Start or Job Completion.

     6. On Filter tab, set the filters for the report.
     7. Select File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
     8. Enter the Host Address, FTP Login, and FTP password.   
     9. Enter the File Name with extension, for example, New_Report.xlsx, and select the Date Format for Table reports.

     10. Select the PGP as the screenshot below:

    11. On Job Occurrence tab, select how often the report should run and the first scheduled occurrence of the report.

The job runs at the specified time for each occurrence.

Note: If the File Encryption option is not available in Report Center, that means the Encryption Key was not imported yet in Provisioning > Managing PGP Keys > Import Encryption Key/Imported Keys.
You need to import the key to make the option available while scheduling the report.
