2574722 - Email Notification - Document Routing Notification do not trigger when Enforce Start Date is enabled in route map - Performance Management

Symptom

When Document Routing Notification is enabled, but the form moves to a step that has an Enforce start date enabled, the email notification is not received

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center > Performance Management > Manage route maps
  2. Select the form's route map
  3. On the second step or higher, add a start date
  4. Check Enforce start date > Save
  5. Go to Email Notification Template Settings and enable Document Routing Notification
  6. Launch a form
  7. Route the form to the step with Enforce start date -- notification will not trigger at the moment the form is routed

Resolution

This is expected behavior. If a route step has Enforce start date enabled, then the document routing notification will only trigger on that step's start date defined.

However, in a 360 form, when routing the form to the Evaluation stage and the form is already on that step's start date no email notification is triggered.

Please raise an case to Cloud Product Support for the creation of "Send Schedule Emails" job in provisioning. This is to ensure that all emails will be sent as scheduled.
