2575155 - Courses in the Recommendation tile disappear after being viewed

After users open the peer recommended course from the Recommendation tile, and it disappears from the tile. How to fix it?

1. Go to the user's Learning side >
2. Open an item in from the Recommendations tile >
3. The item disappeared after it is viewed.

In the Learning admin side, click: System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LMS_ADMIN > hideViewedP2PRecommendations.

• When set to true, the Peer Recommendation would be hidden after the user has viewed the recommendation by navigating to the Item / Program details page from the Recommendation tile. It is not necessary to add item into Learning plan Or learning history of the user. 
• When set to false, behavior is consistent with admin recommendations. Item is removed from recommendation tile only when user add item on learning plan or learning history.
• Please check if that item exists in the user's Learning Plan or Learning History. If it exists, then the recommendations disappearing makes sense as the recommendation was considered and is no longer required. This is as per system design.

If you do not want to automatically remove the viewed recommendations, in the Learning admin side, click: System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LMS_ADMIN > Set the value as below:

1. hideViewedP2PRecommendations=false >
2. Apply changes.

Now, to remove the course, the user will have to do it manually, by choosing the "Remove" option.

Note: hideViewedP2PRecommendations is deprecated as of the 2H 2023 release.
