2575211 - Address/Name Field Character Length On Accounts

You would like to add more characters to the Address and Name Fields within Accounts. The current limitation is 60 characters for the street address and 40 characters for the name.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Customers Workcenter.
2. Go to the Accounts view.
3. Open any Account.
4. You see that the Address/Name fields all have a character limitation in place.
5. You cannot find any way to change the character length for those fields.

This is the expected system behavior.

The character length of these fields cannot be changed, however, you can add Additional Address/Name fields through Adaptation.

1. Go to the Customers workcenter.
2. Go to the Accounts view.
3. Start Adaptation Mode.
4. Open any Account.
5. Click Edit.
6. On the account header hover over any of the Address/Name fields.
7. Select the available additional Address/Name fields as needed.
