• Person ID or Employee ID column is blank for some users in Canvas Advanced Reporting
• The target population to see Employee ID field is correct in RBP
• A Pivot Table report shows the error message "Role based security prevents the viewing of this component"
• What is the permission required to see Employee ID or Person ID data?

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Log in as admin user and open the affected report in Canvas Advanced Reporting
2. See that Person ID / Employee ID column is showing data for all employees
3. Proxy as the affected and open the same report
4. See that Person ID / Employee ID column is blank

The Person ID (it can be configured as Employee ID also) belongs to Biographical Information table and the user running the report must have permission to this table.

Provide RBP permission and proper target population to Biographical Information under Employee Data.
