2575291 - No Business Goal Headers on visibility page in Variable Pay Configure Label Names and Visibility feature.

When you create a Variable Pay Template, with Field Based Permissions enabled, then go to Set Bonus Calculations and choose the option 'Multiple' from the dropdown menu for Number of Business Goals Sections. Then go to Configure Label Names and Visibility page and observe that there is no Business Goal Header.

Go to:

1. Admin Centre>
2. Compensation>
3. Compensation Home>
4. Variable Pay Template>
5. Plan Setup>
6. Settings>
7. Set Bonus Calculation>
8. Choose Multiple from the dropdown menu for Number of Business Goals Section.

(This means that you will have more than one goal which means you will you have multiple Business Headers.)

   9. Click the Save button that you will find if you scroll to the bottom of the Set Bonus Calculation screen.

    10. Now you would expect to see Business Header as an option to grant visibility to in the feature: Configure Label Names and Visibility.

    11. So, now we navigate to Variable Pay Template>

    12. Plan Setup>

    13. Design Worksheet>

    14. Configure Label Names and Visibility.

    15. We do not see Business Header(s) under Business Goals section:

This is a know issue. Please find below the workaround for this.

The workaround is:

1. Disable Field Based Permissions by navigating to

• Variable Pay Template>
• Plan Setup>
• Settings>
• Settings>
• Scroll to the bottom of this page.

2. Navigate to Configure Label Names and Visibility page with non-Field Based Permissions and set Business Goal Headers as visible to whatever roles you want.

(Manager, Admin, etc.)
C. Logout of the instance and Log back in and now enable the Field Based Permission for this Variable Pay Template again.

3. Navigate to Configure Label Names and Visibility page, Business Goal Headers show.

 4. If you wish for this behaviour to be changed, please open an Enhancement Request to have this put on the roadmap for a future release.
