2575400 - Dynamic Calculations disabled in Analysis Office for HANA data source

Symptom

When clicking to "Add Dynamic Calculation" in a measure of a HANA data source, many options are disabled as shown below:

Environment

SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office

Cause

This is a limitation in the BICS layer (mid layer responsible for the communication between AO and HANA).

Resolution

Since this is a limitation, it is not possible to add some Dynamic Calculations for HANA queries at the moment. This is also mentioned in SAP note 1614800.
