2575486 - Foundation object edit leads to workflow named - **[create]

When we modify an exisiting foundation object by inserting a new record, we get a workflow named as **[create]:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Employee Central: Workflows

• Insert new record from Manage organization, pay and job structures > Any foundation object > Insert a new record> Save.
• The workflow generated says **[create] instead of **[update].

Insert a new record is considered as creation of data. Hence, the workflow shows as **[create].

• This is an expected behavior as per product design. Please request an enhancement request with help of the KBA 2090228 - How to submit enhancement requests for SAP SuccessFactors products , if changes to current behavior is desired.
• Changes done via Make Correction however will lead to **[update] workflow.
