Symptom

  • Database locks causing huge performance degradation in the system
  • SQL error "SQL code: 12207" occurred while accessing table "BALDAT", "BALHDR" or "BAL_INDX" 
  • ST22 short dump reports:
    The termination occurred in ABAP program "SAPLSBAL_DB_INTERNAL", in "DELETE_LOGS_PACKAGE". The main program was "SAPMSSY1".
