2575791 - Generating a Preview For a Price List Results in the Output Error No PDF Found

You try to generate the preview for a price list but you encounter an error message that looks like the following:

No PDF found.
Output Service processing error
Form template variant for language E and country cannot be found (language can also be followed by letters e.g. S/G/I)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Work Center Product and Service Portfolio.
2. Choose the View Pricing and the Subview Price Lists.
3. Click on any of the existing Price Lists.
4. Use the Edit button to open the Overview.
5. Click on the Preview button.
6. ByDesign tries to render the form template but instead the error mentioned above is opened in a new browser tab.

The language of the form template Price and Discount List is determined by the logon language. That means if you for example login to the system with English language and you try to preview the PDF for the price List, the system will automatically try to generate the PDF with a form template that has only the language maintained but no country.

To prevent this error, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Work Center Application and User Management.
2. Choose the Subview Form Template Maintenance in the View Business Flexibility.
3. Click on the Advanced Search, search for Price List in the Template Group field and click Go.

     4. Afterwards click on a version of the Price and Discount List with the desired language, then use the Copy button, choose as New Variant and only maintain the language you need the form template for without a country. In this example the language English was chosen, which means that the Price List will be generated without errors as long as the logon language is English.
