2575924 - SAP (secSAPR3) authentication type not available in a .NET Desktop application after installing the BOE .NET 32 and 64 bit SDK packages

We developed a 64-bit application based on the SAP BOP .NET SDK 64-bit (4.2 SP3). When attempting to login to the BI system from a machine that has the SAP BI Client Tools & the SBOP .NET SDK redistributables installed (32 and 64-bit), the secSAPR3 authentication type is not listed. If we execute this same 64-bit application on the SAP BI Server, the the secSAPR3 authentication type is listed.

• On the BI Client machine, I can confirm that the secSAP authentication type is listed in 32-bit applications such as Crystal Reports 2016.  
• On the BI Client machine, we have copied the ...\win32_x86\secSAPR3.dll to ...\win64_x64 but this does not make secSAPR3 available in our 64-bit app.  

What needs to be done to enable secSAP3R3 as an authentication type in 64-bit applications?
