EC Alert Notifcation sent out with [[OBJECT_NAME]]

Reproducing the Issue

If the follwoing two fields are not maintained:

  1. alertHeaderLocalized
  2. alertDescriptionLocalized

Cause

Following b1711 release, you will receive a "Default" template if the Locale Specific "Header" and "Description" are not maintained in the AlertMessage definition.

This will occur if the follwoing two fields are not maintained in the "AlertMessage" object :

  • alertHeaderLocalized
  • alertDescriptionLocalized

Resolution

  1. Go to Admin Center
  2. Search for Configure Object Definition
  3. Search for AlertMessage object
  4. Enable the fields alertHeaderLocalized and alertDescriptionLocalized and set the visibility to editable, save it.
  5. Then go to Manage Data in Admin Center and add the value for those fields
