2576473 - Defaulting Currency, Locale, Date and Time Formats for Users

When trying to default the currency, locale, date and time to certain formats, these changes are not reflecting in user interface for all the users.

• Defaulting the values at the user locale (language) and Global Application Settings level would only default it for new users and not make this a default for all the existing users. When you change the Global currency value, you would get this message, "The global currency will be changed but the existing records containing currency attributes will not be affected by the change." - This is by design.
• Preferences cannot be overridden for the users with any setting changes on the administrator side.

These values can be updated via connector for the users you would like to mass update. Please check the KBAs below to see the settings and procedure required for this update.
