2576728 - Error 12822 while creating a global temp table, verify if internal temp table is present with same name - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • ASE server encounters Error 12822 

Msg 12822, Level 16, State 1:
Cannot create temporary table '##temptable'. Prefix name '##mytable' is already in use by another temporary table '##temptable'.

  • It is reported when a SELECT query references a session temporary table while a user temporary table with the same name exists in the current session.
