2576914 - Application error when trying to add or edit Compensation Information

Symptom

You are trying to add a Compensation Information record via the comp Info UI and at the moment you save it an application error appears

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Select any employee;
  2. Click on take action or navigate to compensation information and click in edit (the pencil icon);
  3. Change any data and try to save it, or try to add a new pay component and save it;
  4. The application error pops-up.

Cause

There is one mandatory field empty.

Resolution

This fingerprint happens because after you have added the information you changed one field to mandatory. Since this field was not mandatory before there might have some cases where this field is empty for certain employee which will cause the application error experienced.

In order to fix it, please make sure that all the mandatory fields are not empty;
