2577675 - While Changing the Status of Logistics Area to Obsolete, Error Appears

Error appears while changing the status of logistics area DEF to Obsolete.*DEF refers to Logistics Area ID

1. Navigate to Supply Chain Design Master Data Work Center.
2. Go to  Locations View.
3. Select Site KLM and Select Edit Layout.*KLM refers to Site Id
4. Select Logistics Area DEF and Select Change Status Set to Obsolete.

Error message appears

Change logistics area status not possible; logistics area not empty

1)As Inventories are still available in Logistics area DEF, system is unable to change the status to Obsolete.

2)One more cause could be if there are any unprocessed Open Tasks which are tagged to Logistics Area DEF.

1)Move all the inventories belonging to logistics area DEF to different logistics area and then you can set the status of logistics area DEF to Obsolete.

2)In order to find the outstanding tasks in the system, you will have to check in one of the following Work Centers - Inbound/Outbound/Internal Logistics

For Example

1. Go to Outbound Logistics WorkCenter
2. Navigate to Task Control
3. Click Advanced Filter
4. Input Logistics Area as  DEF for Source Logistics Area  
5. Run the Query

Change the status of Logistics Area to Obsolete, Change logistics area status not possible; logistics area not empty , KBA , change logistics area status not possibl , status of logistics area to obsolete , change the status of logistics area , logistics area not empty , AP-LDM-LOC , Location , Problem
