2577841 - High Memory usage

Symptom

  • ADS becomes unresponsive and no client connection goes through for a few minutes, then it is back to normal.
  • ADS server crashes and in the ADS_ERR table, there is winsock error 10054 and, around the same date and time, Microsoft Application event viewer displays errors for AdsmClientService (event ID 4099):

ANS4005E Error processing '\\myname\d$\name\myPath1\_040453.DBF: file not found
ANS4005E Error processing '\\myname\d$\name\myPath2\_040140.DBF: file not found
ANS4005E Error processing '\\myname\d$\name\myPath3\_040142.DBF: file not found
ANS4005E Error processing '\\myname\d$\name\myPath4\_040330.DBF: file not found
ANS4005E Error processing '\\myname\d$\name\myPath5\_040834.DBF: file not found

  • Microsoft Application event viewer displays event ID 203 An internal Advantage Database Server error occurred.  The internal error code was 9077.  Please notify Extended Systems' technical support of any internal Advantage Database Server errors.
