When adding products to cart in the storefront, cart is with ID 00001000. After checkout, order number becomes 00001001. If 5 more carts are created, the sixth cart ID will be 00001007. Then the order converted from this cart will get order number 00001008. For this case, the order start number is set as keygen.order.code.start=00001000. But order number jumps from 00001001 to 00001008, which is not sequential.
