2578162 - Action Search "Give a badge to..." action does not show up - SAP SuccessFactors

Symptom

Cannot search "Give a badge to..." action in Action Search or Manage Action Search.

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the Instance; 
  2. Go to Action Search Tool and try to search "Give a badge to...";
  3. It does not show up;

  1. Go to Manage Action Search;
  2. Try to search "Give a badge to..." action;
  3. It does not show up.

Cause

The "Public Profile" is not enabled in provisioning.

Resolution

If you are working with an Implementation Partner, kindly ask them to select the box "Enable Public Profile" in Provisioning.

If you are no longer working with an Implementation Partner, please open a case to the Cloud Product Support (LOD-SF-EP) and kindly ask the Support Consultant to enable it in Provisioning.

Note: Don't forget to share the right Company ID with the Support Consultant.

Step to enable the Public Profile: 

  1. Open the Provisioning. 
  2. Click in Company Settings. 
  3. Search "Enable Public Profile";
  4. Select the box; 
  5. Save the changes.
