Symptom

  • Unable to use "fromDate" parameter to fetch historical data from EmpJob Odata entity exposed by SuccessFactors Employee Central when used through a virtual table created in HANA.
  • Querying the same OData entity through a URL format returns one single record - the active one - for a given employee.
  • Adding the "fromDate" parameter (not as a filter), brings all historical records for a given employee.
  • How can the "fromDate" parameter be implemented in a SQL query against the virtual table?
