2578196 - The UI Designer Crashes When Selecting The Edit Icon

Symptom

When opening a custom UI Screen (for example, an Embedded Component) from the Cloud Applications Studio, and selecting the Edit icon to edit this screen, the UI Designer crashes and either error message is shown:

  • A new guard page for the stack cannot be created
  • UI Designer has caught an exception. Display/Edit operation failed to execute

This issue does not occur when you open and edit an Embedded Component from the Configuration Explorer section within the UI Designer.
