2578523 - SAP HANA Smart Data Access - exceeded simultaneous SESSIONS_PER_USER limit

Symptom

  • You are using Smart Data Access (SDA) to connect HANA to an Oracle remote data source.
  • You are using Smart Data Access (SDA) to connect HANA to remote SQL Server database.
  • The database connections opened by HANA in the Oracle remote data source remain inactive after query execution and never close.
  • The following error can be observed in both Oracle and the HANA indexserver trace file:

[unixODBC][Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-02391: exceeded simultaneous SESSIONS_PER_USER limit
