2578539 - LMS: Admin is unable to remove an item assignment from the user via the Manage Assignments tool

The admin is unable to remove the learning items from the user's learning plan with the use of "Manage Assignments" tool.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Go to Manage User Learning > Manage Assignments
2. Select Remove Items option
3. Search for the user ID and item ID
4. Select "Schedule Job" method to remove the assignment
5. Job has a status Succeeded
6. Navigate to the user and see that the Item is still assigned to the user, despite the job being successfully completed

The item was assigned through a Curricula or Program. Only items that are free-floating can be removed via the "Remove items" option in Manage Assignments tool.

This is mentioned in the status confirmation message provided by the job if you are selecting the "Run Job Now" option instead of the "Schedule Job":

For you to remove the item assigned as part of a Curricula or a Program, you will need to remove the whole Curricula/Program from the users. Follow the steps below:

1. Go to Manage User Learning > Manage Assignments
2. Select Remove Curricula option or Remove Programs option, as per the need
3. Search for the user ID and Curricula/Program ID
4. Run the job to to remove the assignment
