2579181 - It is Not Possible to Change the Hire Date for a Rehired Employee

You want to change the Hire Date for an employee that has been rehired, however, an error is being given when you try to save this change.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Personnel Administration work center and access the view Employees;
2. Search for the employee you want to change the Hire Date and then click on Edit;
3. Go to the Employment tab and click on the button "Change Hire Date";
4. Once you select the new date an error will be shown at the bottom of the screen. 

If an employee was terminated and then rehired into another organization, then it is not possible to change its Hire Date anymore.

This is the expected system behavior.
