Symptom
You have received a notification either stating that your tenant certificate will expire soon or that the tenant certificate has been renewed.
Environment

- SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
You will receive a notification in various locations:
- In SAP Business ByDesign:
- An case in the Application and User Management workcenter in the cases view.
- A Business Task Notification in the Application and User Management workcenter, under the Business Task Management view.
- An e-mail directly to the designated IT Contact Person listed first in the Service Control Center work center.
- In SAP Cloud for Customer:
- An case in the Administrator workcenter, under cases view.
- A Notification task in the task bar under the Notification icon.
- An e-mail directly to the designated IT Contact Person listed first in the Service Control Center work center.
Cause
The SAP Networking Team will renew the mandate certificate periodically and automatically.
Resolution
The renewal of the certificate itself does not require any action from your side. However, after you have received the confirmation that the mandate certificate has been renewed, check if you have inbound web services of the system that consumes the Authentication Method as SSL Certificate (Create and Download Key Pair). If yes, you have to perform the activity once again and take the new certificate and upload it in the target system from where you're trying to consume the web service.
