Unknown Error connecting to SAP Business Warehouse in SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC)

• SAP Analytics Cloud
• SAP Business Warehouse
• SAP NetWeaver

1. Configure Cross Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) on SAP NetWeaver per https://blogs.sap.com/2017/02/08/how-to-enable-cors-on-sap-netweaver-platform
2. Create a Live Data Connection to SAP Business Warehouse on the configured SAP NetWeaver system
3. Notice the error

SAP NetWeaver System Kernel patch level is prior to Release 749 Package Level 315 per:

1. Connect to SAP NetWeaver System in SAP GUI
2. Click System | Status...
3. Click Other kernel info. (Shift F5) icon
4. Check Kernel release and Support Package Level

1. Update SAP NetWeaver Kernel per the appropriate guide for your version: https://service.sap.com/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000002672&_EVENT=DISPLAY&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000122&_HIER_KEY=501100035870000015092&_HIER_KEY=601100035870000179415&
2. Minimum version is Kernel Release 749 Package Level 315
