Symptom

The following error message is displayed when trying to run Java application that uses SQL Anywhere JDBC driver:

  • Exception in thread "xxx" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /Applications/SQLAnywhere17/System/lib64/libdbjdbc17.dylib: dlopen(/Applications/SQLAnywhere17/System/lib64/libdbjdbc17.dylib, 1): Library not loaded: libdbtasks17_r.dylib
