Symptom
You try to navigate from a Report to an Opportunity, but the navigation target is not working.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer add ins
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Business Analytics work center.
- Go to the View Report.
- Find and open Report XYZ (Report XYZ represents the name of the report).
- Select an Opportunity and Click Navigation Target.
You are not able to navigate to the opportunities from the report, however for another user the Navigation Target is working correctly.
Cause
The User is not assigned to Opportunities View.
Resolution
- Go to the Application and User Management work center.
- Go to the view Business Users.
- Search for the affected User.
- Select Edit and select Access Rights.
- Select the tab Work Center and View Assignment.
- Find the Work Center Sales.
- Assign the User to the Opportunities view.
User will now be able to navigate to the opportunities from the report.
