2581124 - Analysis for Office 2.3 scheduling fails in BI 4.2 after patching: 'Failed'

Symptom

  • After updating your BI 4.1 environment of any patch level to 4.2, Analysis for Office 2.3 schedules fail.  Other object types may schedule to success, using teh same Adaptive Job Server (WebI, Crystal for instance).
  • When scheduling AO objects to Default Enterprise Location, you will receive the error message:  'Failed'    No other pertinent information is provided.
  • When attempting to analyze the situation, you may notice that no AO Precalculation logs are generated in the default Logging directory ("Analysis_Precalculation_[JobName]_[InstanceID].log")
