2581395 - The Activities tab is still visible on Continuous Performance Management page despite removing the permissions

Symptom

The Activities tab is still visible despite the View/Edit role-based permissions for Activity being disabled, and the "Enable Activity Feedback" setting being disabled in the CPM Configuration page.

Environment

Continuous Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to the Continuous Performance Management Configuration page.

2. The "Enable Activity Feedback" option is unchecked:

3. Go to Manage Permission Roles and select the permission role.

4. Go to User Permissions > Continuous Performance Management

5. The View/Edit permissions are unchecked:

Resolution

  • In the Continuous Performance Management Configuration page, the option "Enable Coaching" should be unchecked:

  • The Coaching feature appears under the Activities tab on Continuous Performance Management.
  • Therefore, if Coaching is still enabled, the Activities tab will remain visible.

Note: After changing any of the features on the Continuous Performance Management Configuration page, go to Admin Center > Company Settings and select "OData API Metadata refresh".
