2581440 - Missing Development Plans in the Development Objectives Portlet

Symptom

  • Unable to see all Development Plans in Development Objectives Portlet in People Profile. 
  • Some Development Plans appear in the Development Module, but not in the Development Objectives portlet in People Profile.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Development > Development Plan > we can see the list of available Development Plans:

  2. Go to Employee Profile > Development Objective portlet > we can only see one of the Development Plans:

Cause

When configuring the Development Objectives portlet in People Profile, you can select which plans you want to make available. In this example, only one of the templates was enabled for the portlet:

Resolution

Go to:

  1. Admin Center > Employee Files > Configure People Profile.
  2. Search for the related Development Objective Portlet and click on it to open the configuration options. For example, Development Objectives.

  3. Then, click "Add Template" and add the missing templates that you want to make available in the People Profile.

  4. Open the People Profile and go to the Development Objectives portlet > All of the Development Plans you added in the configuration will be listed there (except if you don't have permissions for the Development Plan template, in which case the plan will not appear in the Development module either).
