2581511 - How can I Export Alert Messages that I have Created

Symptom

You have created custom alert messages in the system via Manage Data --> Create new --> Select the object 'AlertMessage'.

You now want to export the alert messages that you have created.

Environment

Employee Central Alerts and Notifications.

Resolution

1 - Navigate to Admin Centre and search for 'Import and Export Data'.

2 - Select 'Alert Message' from the 'Select Generic Object' dropdown and hit the Export button.

3 - Navigate to Admin Centre and search for 'Monitor Job'.

4 - You will see a completed MDF Data Export job like below:

 5 - Click on the 'Download Status' link for the related job.

6 - An Alert Message CSV file will now be downloaded and the Alert Messages will be available in the file similar to below:
