Time Series Chart from Linked Model does not match period filter for first model in SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC)

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2017.24.4

1. Create Model1 and Model2 on the same SAP HANA view
2. Create a Story that Links Model1 to Model2 by an ID such as Cost Center
3. Create a Filter that selects a specific Time Period from Model1
4. Create a Time Series chart from Model2
5. Notice that the Time Series chart does not change to the correct Time Period when the Filter on Model1 is changed

When Model1 is filtered on a specific Time Period the link on Cost Center brings in all data with matching Cost Centers from Model2 regardless of Time Period

Link Model1 to Model2 on both Cost Center and Time Period
