2582354 - Partner Add-Ons Not Visible in HTML5 UI in SAP ByDesign

Partner developed add-ons are visible in Silverlight but not in HTML5 in productive ByD tenant.

ByD HTML5 client

1. Log into HTML5 UI https://myxxxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/public/byd/runtime?client_type=html
2. Custom work centers and views are not visible.

Partner content is not enabled by default in Bydesign HTML5 productive systems. This is done to ensure that the content added via Partner Add-on using HTML5 client does not corrupt the data on the productive system.
In test tenants custom add-ons are enabled by default.

With 1711 HFC02 administrators can enable partner developed content in HTML5 productive systems following these steps:

1. Click on the profile icon in the upper right corner.
2. Select Key User Settings and choose Enable Add-on.

Note that it is not possible to enable individual partner add-ons. It is strongly recommended to first test all the partner add-ons and ensure they work as expected in HTML5 test systems before enabling them in the productive environment.
