Symptom
When you add a new product in Leads work center view, you find it can be saved successfully without enter any value.
Environment
SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Sales work center.
- Go to Leads work center view.
- Open a lead.
- Navigate to Products facet.
- Click “Add” to create a product.
- Save it without enter any value.
- Found the empty product item can be saved.
Cause
The Product Lists without an entered product are used to capture quantities and revenue.
For this reason, C4C system don’t insert the check function for those business processes.
Resolution
This is an expected behavior.
If you want to make product mandatory , this would have to be done via PDI validations.
Then you can avoid this behavior by adding a custom validation through PDI.
