1. Log into the instance
2. Navigate to Recruiting
3. Click on Interview Scheduling
   
   
4. Select the candidate (for whom it is not started) → Search for the interviewer in the field "Add interviewer by" → Click on Find availability
   
   
5. Add custom slot → Click on continue
   
   
6. Enter Subject and body of the email or select an Email Template
   
   
   Note that the From field will be automatically filled with the interview organizer email as per system design. If you would like to change the email sender, you should update this field manually (Single Sign On will not be applied in this case).
   
   
7. Interview email should be sent
   
   
8. The interview is scheduled, but the Interviewer doesn't get the calendar blocked in their Outlook
9. Candidate receives an email with Confirm and Decline options.
10. Once the candidate confirms the Interview, only then the calendar will be blocked for the interviewer.

While scheduling the interview, select the checkbox - "You have selected only one slot. You can book candidates at once and they do not need to confirm the time."

When user selects this option – Interviewer gets the calendar invite

Once the checkbox "Book this slot for candidates" is checked, the candidate receives the email for the interview but doesn’t have the option to select or reject the Interview, as by checking this checkbox the Interview Organizer has confirmed the Interview on behalf of the candidate.

The scenario described above and also in the "Reproducing the Issue" section happens when the option "You have selected only one slot. You can book candidates at once and they do not need to confirm the time." is not checked. If checked, the interview slot will be automatically booked to that appointment, but the candidate will not have the option to choose between this specific slot or any other. Said checkbox will only be available when only a single time slot is proposed to the candidate. Candidates will start showing in Interview Central once they confirmed the booking or the interview is booked by organizer on behalf of them.

NOTE: If an interviewer blocks their calendar after the interview has been scheduled, the system will not update the existing interview slots and will require the interview to be rescheduled manually with new slots.

Note: If the slot is not booked on behalf of the candidate, then the candidate must login to the system in order to accept or reject the interview. It is not possible to do this directly in the interview email. An enhancement request has already been submitted to allow the candidate to accept the interview from the email. This enhancement request can be viewed here.

Note: If the interview shows as not booked in Interview Scheduling, the candidate will not appear in Interview Central. The interview must be booked before the candidate will appear in interview central. The interview can be booked by either the candidate accepting the interview or using the option book this slot accepting on the candidate's behalf.
