2583182 - Design Panel is not displayed by default when opening workbooks

When opening Analysis for Office workbooks from BI Platform or local PC or Netweaver, the Design Panel is always hidden by default.

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

1. Open an Analysis for Office workbook from BI Platform or local PC or Netweaver;
2. Confirm that the Design Panel is not displayed by default.

This is not a bug in the tool. The tool is working as designed.

There is no option or setting to automatically show the Design Panel when opening the workbooks.

It is necessary to manually click on the "Display" button or in the option "Display Design Panel" to open the Design Panel, as shown below:
