2583399 - SAP SMP service is not starting as expected

Symptom

  • SMP server is not starting as expected.
  • Window services reports the following error:
         Windows could not start the SAP Mobile Platform Server service on xxx (server instance)
         Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion
  • GoBat log shows: java.io.filenotfoundexception:D:\SAP\Server\.\log\osgi.log (access is denied)
  • Error logs show:
    2017 12 14 18:47:57#+00#ERROR#com.sap.mobile.platform.server.cluster.cacheeviction.EvictionManager###Gemini Blueprint context shutdown thread#########Exception sending eviction message to the cluster. org.eclipse.gemini.blueprint.service.importer.ServiceProxyDestroyedException: service proxy has been destroyed
    at org.eclipse.gemini.blueprint.service.importer.support.internal.aop.ServiceDynamicInterceptor$ServiceLookUpCallback.doWithRetry(ServiceDynamicInterceptor.java:101)
