2583709 - Custom View link error “You are not authorized to view this data for the selected user.” - Compensation Management

When you click on the Custom View link you get an error that says “You are not authorized to view this data for the selected user.”

Access your form / Executive Review click on the custom view link you have. You will be redirected to another page and the error is displayed.

You do not have permission to access the view / portlet / block.

Make sure that the user who will click the link have permission to the view / portlet / block.

The Employee Profile view permission is under User Permissions > Employee Views and the portlet permission is under User Permissions > Employee Data > Background

If permission has been granted and still the error persist, Engineering Team is doing an investigation about it – no initial findings yet. This article will be updated as soon as the cause and fix has been identified. (EDU-11227)
