2583717 - Error Saving Communication System

Symptom

User <User ID> is assigned to system <System ID> for oAuth 2.0 Identity Provider

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

This issue may occur while saving a new communication system using the Maintain Communication Systems app

Cause

  • The Identity Provider (IDP) name used in the communication system instance has already been used in another communication system
  • The communication user used in the communication system has already been used in another IDP, assigning the same communication user to multiple IDPs is not allowed

Resolution

Use a unique IDP name and use a unique communication user when creating the communication system
