2583793 - Configure Notification to Send Messages to Specific Recipient using Data Driven Type - Onboarding 1.0

This article provides information on how to configure a Data Driven Type of Notification. Below are the common business requirements:

• Trigger an Onboarding e-mail notification to specific user or candidate that is not defined in the system
• Send copy of the Onboarding e-mail notification to a corporate inbox
• Send to an external e-mail that is mapped in a key
• Send a copy of the e-mail to an external e-mail domain

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HXM > Onboarding 1.0 > Notifications
2. Locate the Notification Template to add specific recipient
3. Select the Notification Template and Edit button will appear in the Tool Bar
4. Click the Edit button
5. Edit Notifications pop-up form will appear
6. Click Recipient tab
7. To configure notification to send messages to specific recepient(s), select Data Driven Notification in one of the recipient fields below.
   
   a. Specify Notification Recipient - The e-mail assigned to this will be included in the 'To' box of the message
   b. Specify Notification CC Recipient - The e-mail assigned to this will be included in the 'CC' box of the message
   
   
8. Enter the email address 
9. Click Update and Apply to reflect the changes

Note:

• For specific Named Users use by the following format: '{user:HiringManager, objattr=email}'
• Custom Onboarding Keys that have e-mail value can be used in the recipient field by following the format: '{InsertKey}'
