2583891 - Save rejected Because the Field is Defined as Mandatory by Key User

When you are trying to release any document / saving in Bydesign-HTML5 UI, you are getting an error message Save rejected Because the Field is Defined as Mandatory by Key User.

• SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Project Management Work Center.
2. Then go to Projects view.
3. Click any Project and create New Project Invoice Request.
4. After completing steps, on Finish, you get error message.

If a field property is mandatory and there is no value filled, then error message is triggered in the system.

Enter the value for the field which is marked as mandatory or you can remove mandatory property by following below steps in Silverlight client.

1. Go to relevant screen.
2. Click your User Profile icon and go to Key User settings > Start Adaptation mode
3. Hover over the field ABC and make a right click.
4. Underneath the name of the field there is a Set Mandatory checkbox.
5. Uncheck the Set Mandatory checkbox
6. Save and publish the change
