2584046 - Cannot Select Weekend or Ordinary Public Holiday as Availability Date When Creating New Planning Proposal

You cannot select weekend or Ordinary Public Holiday as availability date when creating new planing proposal. System will change the date to the latest weekday.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Supply Planning work center..
2. Select the Common Task New Planning Proposal.
3. Enter Product ID XYZ (XYZ is the ID of the Product) , Planning Area ABC (ABC represents the Planning Area ID) and Quantity XXX (XXX represents the exact Quantity), and select, for example, the Available Date as 31.12.2017 (Sunday). 
4. Press the Enter button on the keyboard.

 Available Date will be changed to 29.12.2017 (Friday) automatically.

For the Planning Area ABC, the calendar is maintained as Mon. - Fri. 5 working days. Thus, you cannot select weekend or Ordinary Public Holiday as availability date when creating new planning proposal. System will change the date to the latest weekday.

This is the standard behavior of the system. If you want to select weekend or Ordinary Public Holiday as available date when creating planning proposal the calendar of the planning area has to include weekend as working days.
