2584174 - Which communication types can I use in a communication strategy?

Symptom

Ambiguities exist in relation to the possible communication types in a communication strategy. Communication strategies are used in the message control for medium 5 (external sending) in order to dynamically determine the communication type by means of an address reference.
When you use a non-supported communication type, the system may generate message TD421 ('Parameter DEVICE=& is invalid').
