2584877 - DVM workcenter - Error "ADBC connection not maintained for CRA analysis for system <SID>"

Symptom

  • In the "Reorganization and Compression (Incl. HANA Sizing)" tile of the DVM workcenter, the CRA Analysis fails for a system with error "ADBC connection not maintained for CRA analysis for system <SID>".
  • It is not possible to select metrics in the "Reorganization and Compression (Incl. HANA Sizing)" tile. 

Environment

SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SP3-6

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Run transaction SM_WORKCENTER
  2. Select "Data Volume Management"
  3. Select "Reorganization and Compression (Incl. HANA Sizing)"
  4. Click "Analysis list" and select "CRA analysis"
  5. Click "New Analysis"

Cause

The CRA error is usually caused by the DBConnection not being mapped to the correct managed system. Therefore, in CRA, the program is not able to find the DBConnection for the particular SID.

Resolution

The DBConnection needs to be re-created or setup by the Solution Manager administrator, to ensure the correct SID is chosen.
