Symptom

When performing the asset fiscal year change using transaction code AJRW (in ECC) or FAGLGVTR (in S/4HANA) to open a new fiscal year in Asset Accounting, error message AA761 (“Fiscal year change in company code XXXX is possible only after year-end closing YYYY.” ) occurs.
