2584929 - Lumira Server crashes while opening several Lumira documents at the same time

Symptom

Open any Lumira documents and observe it hanging for a long time.

  • Sometimes the following error can be seen after Lumira document loading for a long time:
    Unknown Error While processing the current request, an exception occurred which could not be handled by the application or the framework.

  • Following error is recorded in "LS_NODE.LumiraServer_jvm.log" file:

    ***ERROR (:0): OutOfMemoryError: Could not allocate XXXXX bytes
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
    Dumping heap to ~/SAP BusinessObjects/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/logging/\java_pid12016.hprof ...
    Heap dump file created [394245861 bytes in 3.029 secs]
    : [11544] 22:34:09 ***ERROR (vmError.cpp:2865): java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

  • Gets the following error in Windows Event Viewer:
    Event ID = 4096
    Server Intelligence Agent: server HOSTNAME.LumiraServer stopped unexpectedly.
  • PID of Lumira server is changed in CMC, which means Lumira server restarted itself.
