2584995 - Page Layout and Master Layout with Different Mandatory Setting for Same Field

Customer set one field as mandatory in master layout, but this field in unable to set as not mandatory in the page layout settings.

Cloud for Customer

1. In the Edit Master Layout, set one field as Mandatory.

2. Then click edit page layout, choose one page layout. Set this same field as not Mandatory.

3. After ending page layout, this field is still set as Mandatory.

This is the expected behavior.  Master layout has more priority compared to Page layout. Therefore changes done in page layout mode will be overridden by master layout changes.

Since field is already mandatory in Master layout and will reflect same will remain mandatory in page layout mode.
