2585268 - Custom KPI or Report Missing When Adapting/ Personalizing the Home Page

You have created a custom KPI and would like to add it to the home page. However when you are in the adaptation or personalization mode, the KPI is missing from the list.

You may face the same scenario with reports: You would like to add a report view to the home page, but it is missing in the list.

• SAP Cloud for Customer
• SAP Business ByDesign

In Cloud for Customer:

1. Go to Home.
2. Click Edit > Adapt.
3. Select the required business role and click OK.
4. Click Edit > Edit.
5. Click KPIs or Reports

In ByDesign:

1. Go to Home, view Overview.
2. Click Start Personalization Mode or Key User Settings > Start Adaptation Mode.
3. Click the + symbol to add a new tile.
4. Go to the KPI or Report tab respectively.

Your custom KPI or report view is not listed here.

The respective report is either not assigned correctly, or it has no view saved yet, apart from the Initial view.

Please note that when adding a report on the Home page, you need to look for the view name instead of the report name.

Reports will only be listed if the below prerequisites are followed:

• The report has a view and selection defined (apart from Initial);
• The report is assigned to a specific work center or business role (C4C only);
• The report is not hidden;
• The user is also assigned to at least one of the work centers / business roles assigned to the report;
• In C4C: The business role has to provide the work center assignment for the Business Analytics work center if you are in the Adaptation mode.

Please note: In C4C, before a user can personalize the home page and add a KPI or report tile, the administrator has to adapt the home page and make the report / KPI available for the business role.
